ELITE HOME INSPECTION

Hello and thank you for visiting.

My name is Michael Shirley the owner of Elite Home Inspection. I am a licensed home inspector in Virginia with a New Residential Structure license . Here is a little about me and my personal journey. I have several years experience working in the building trades from carpentry, post and steel buildings, and concrete work. I have personally remodeled two of my own homes and helped to build my third.

My goal as a home inspector is to help people make educated decisions when deciding on a property. I sincerely want to assist clients in making one of the most significant purchases of their life so they can be confident in their decision. I put the client first and will take the time needed to answer questions as clearly as possible so you have piece of mind. Whether you are a buyer, seller, investor, or real estate agent; I would be happy to take your call and consider it an privilege to do business with you!

When clients are happy, I am happy.

BUYER'S INSPECTION

A buyer's inspection is a vital part of the real estate transaction process and helps you move forward with peace of mind and confidence. A good inspection can help you make wise decisions for one of your most important investments.

SELLER'S INSPECTION

A seller's inspection can advance the sale of your home by getting you the information to make important repairs prior to putting your home on the market. If you plan on staying in your home, it can save you time and money by identifying potential maintenance issues before they become major, costly problems.

NEW RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE INSPECTION

Make sure your new home is move in ready. New residential inspections involve evaluating the property for any defects ahead of moving in so your builder can make necessary repairs as soon as possible.

RE-INSPECTION

After a buyer and seller have gone over the findings from the initial buyer’s inspection report, they will come to an agreement about repairs which should be made before closing. When the repairs are complete, we can return to the home for a re-inspection to make sure that agreements were honored and the appropriate repairs were made.
